#creativeCarto coming back is all about bringing together community to find time, connect, chat, and make things together. this time between meetings, #creativeCarto will post videos on Youtube [insert link] teaching about cartographic workflows for print and web maps; web mapping applications and tools; best practices; and so much more! #creativeCarto will also post interviews with expert cartographers from around the world, to showcase what different cartographers do, how they got to where they are, and highlight tips and tricks from them as well. All of these videos will also be cross-posted to LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Slack channels as well.
Utilize #CreativeCarto for all the projects you've wanted to work on, but haven't gotten the chance to start or finish. Use it as a monthly check-in for your goals, for accountability. #CreativeCarto is our online carto makerspace... carto collective... cart lab! We'll join each other each month in our homes, coffee shops, bars, or wherever it may be and "work alongside" each other! There is no rule on what you "should" work on: #creativeCarto is what YOU want it to be. Share your goals and projects via the hashtag on twitter, and join the slack channel too!
